Tim Whybourne is a Managing Partner of Emanuel Whybourne & Loehr and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with more than 20 years' experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth Australian families. Tim specialises in designing and managing sophisticated, multi-generational investment portfolios with a disciplined, evidence-based approach. His philosophy is simple: combine institutional-grade portfolio construction with highly personalised advice, delivered with absolute alignment to client interests.
Before co-founding EW&L, Tim held senior advisory roles at UBS Wealth Management and Morgan Stanley, where he advised successful families, business owners and executives on complex investment and wealth structuring matters. Today, he works closely with a select group of clients, many of whom have partnered with him for more than a decade - a testament to the long-term relationships he prioritises.
Tim has been recognised in Barron’s Top Investment Advisors (2018, 2019, 2020, 2023 & 2024) and is known for his meticulous, deadline-focused, and accountable approach to managing client capital. He believes wealth advice should be strategic, calm and consistent - particularly during periods of market uncertainty.
Outside of the office, Tim enjoys family life with his wife Anna, a family law barrister, and their two young boys.
